Help It Appears To Be Contagious
We’ve all known incompetence
ineptness too
they clamor around fuddy-duddies
good old boys too…
they linger on the steps of places
like city hall
knock quite loudly
behind their secret chambers
doors…
Incompetence doesn’t want light
it’s afraid that you might see
its nothing but a bully
when it gives a bully-pulpit speech
call you an ass because you don’t agree
with their inept tactics
that aren’t meant for a democracy…
We’ve all been inept
a time or two
when you find you can’t change a tire
can’t tie a tie
can’t cook a simple pot of stew
but its unhealthy
contagious when it’s lived around
the way politicians do…
Incompetence loves arrogance
foolishly you see
incompetence and arrogance
like to look down on the powerless
until a firm boot sends them out to the sea
then they’ll be heard to say
“how could this be happening to me”
